This e-learning course introduces the FAO case study methodology for the analysis of critical food loss points. This method focuses on revealing and analyzing the multi-dimensional causes of losses in selected food supply chains, identification of critical loss points, and recommendation of feasible food loss reduction solutions and strategies. The course is available in online and downloadable (Windows only) versions. Participants will also need to complete a free registration to the FAO elearning Academy.

The Postharvest Education Foundation (PEF) Global Postharvest E-learning Program is a yearlong mentor-guided training program where learners proceed at their own pace. Each participant can select their own crops of interest and conduct assignments (readings, fieldwork and written reports) on topic of their choice.
Participants interact with other trainees through weekly interactive online sessions and have access to LinkedIn discussion groups. Those who successfully complete all 10 e-learning assignments and submit a completed TNA form and a final exam receive a Postharvest Training of Trainers Certificate of Completion. The program is in its eighth year.
